Tesco has announced that it will begin selling international call cards in all of its stores in time for Christmas.
The cards will be usable with any landline or mobile phone and Tesco claims that there won’t be any hidden costs – such as daily maintenance fees, rounding up charges and disconnection fees.
Low cost international calls
According to Tesco, customers will be able to call more than 60 countries at 2p per minute on a landline. These countries will include India, USA, Canada, Australia, Thailand, China and countries in the EU. Calls to these countries on a mobile phone will cost between 2p and 10p per minute when using the Tesco international call cards.
For information on costs to other countries, visit the Tesco website.
