LG has announced its 3D home entertainment line up ahead of Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which begins on 6th January.
The line up consists of three products: two 3D home cinema systems and one 3D Blu-ray player.
Home cinema: the LG HX996TS and LG HB906SB
A 7.2 home cinema system with a combined 1280W output, the LG HX996TS offers USB recording. It’s web-enabled, allowing users to access LG’s Smart TV content over an ethernet or wi-fi connection.
The LG HB906SB is a 5.1 system with 1,100W of total output. This system can also record TV programmes to USB and can provide access to internet TV content. Like the HX996TS, the HB906SB features an iPod cradle and has two HDMI inputs.
Blu-ray player: the LG BD690
With a 3D Blu-ray player that provides internet TV access either over an ethernet or wi-fi connection, the LG BD690 features 250GB of built-in memory.
We expect many more 3D announcements at CES 2011 from LG and other manufacturers.
