Buggy maker Babystyle has unveiled two new pushchairs in its Vision range which it says are designed to fuse traditional styling and modern functionality.
Pushchairs in the Babystyle Vision range are suitable for use from birth and come as a package that includes the chassis, seat unit, carrycot, hood, apron, footmuff, changing bag, parasol and docking stand.
The Babystyle Vision Impact and Vision Movie can both be used in pushchair mode, in pram mode (with the carrycot attached) or with a compatible car seat (the Maxi-Cosi Pebble or Cabriofix child car seats – sold separately). Both come with a reversible seat, five-point harness and can recline to lie flat.
Which? first impressions
You can see exactly what our researcher thought of the BabyStyle Vision in our First Look .
You’ll also find verdicts on other Babystyle pushchairs in our Babystyle pushchairs reviews.
According to Which? pushchair expert Lisa Galliers: ‘We’d expect big things from these Babystyle Vision models to justify their high-end price tags of £775 and £629 – amongst the most expensive we’ve come across.
‘When we test pushchairs, our experts look for high scores on important factors such as handling quality, how the pushchairs fare on different terrains and how easy they are to fold away and pack into a car boot. We’ve awarded Best Buy status to other travel system pushchairs – albeit with fewer nice-to-have extras – priced from just £150.’
Babystyle Vision Impact pushchair
The Vision Impact features concertina-style folding and removable wheels, so the pram is able to fold up compactly – useful if you’re short on storage space at home.
This model’s large wheels and anti-shock system are designed to cushion knocks and impacts if you bump into a door or are riding on rough terrain.
It also features a ‘dual zip basket’ that can be removed from the chassis and turned into a carry bag.
The Babystyle Vision Impact package is priced at £775.
Babystyle Vision Movie pushchair
Babystyle claims that the Vision Movie has ‘superb manoeuvrabilty’ thanks to its small front swivel wheels and a storage basket underneath the chassis.
It also has a ‘3D’ folding system that, according to Babystyle, makes the pram easy to fold up and store.
The Babystyle Vision Movie package is priced at £629.
