Polaroid has unveiled a range of products under its Polaroid Grey Label, in association with pop icon and fashionista Lady Gaga at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.

Proving that it isn’t afraid to make a spectacle of its products, Polaroid’s new range includes the unusual GL20 camera glasses, modelled here by Gaga herself. Polaroid claims that the glasses will let wearers ‘tell their story to the world’ by allowing them to capture pictures and then instantly display them on the glasses’ screen.

‘I consider myself to be a visionary, not just a songwriter and a singer. I am an artist,’ said Lady Gaga, Polaroid’s Creative Director. ‘I brought my vision and love of fashion, technology and obsession with the future into all of my work with Polaroid.’

GL10 Instant Mobile Printer

Polaroid also unveiled the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer, which uses Zink (Zero Ink Technology) from Zink Imaging.

The printer works together with Zink paper, which is impregnated with cyan, yellow and magenta dye crystals. These appear clear – so the paper appears white – until heated by the printer.

GL30 Instant Digital Camera

The GL30 instant digital camera also uses Zink technology. The product combines a digital camera, instant photo printer and digital display.

All Polaroid Grey Label products will be available later this year.
