Apple iPad 2

The Apple iPad 2 goes on sale today in the UK. Wi-fi only and wi-fi with 3G versions will both be available from 5pm, although the new tablet is expected to sell out rapidly.

Users who want to access the web when on the go should consider opting for a 3G model. Data plans are available through a number of carriers, and below we've rounded up the offers from the major networks.

You'll need a micro-SIM card to use the 3G iPad 2. Micro-SIMs from O2, 3, Orange and Vodafone are available when purchasing the iPad 2 from Apple. T-Mobile's micro-SIM card is available from T-Mobile directly.
