The Mitsubishi Colt Juro features sat nav and leather seats as standard

Mitsubishi has announced another high value Juro special edition - this time based on the Colt supermini.

The Mitsubishi Colt Juro takes the existing Colt CZ2 specification as its starting point, but boosts the standard equipment level with satellite navigation and leather upholstery.

Mitsubishi Colt Juro: sat nav and leather as standard

The Colt Juro’s sat nav is a new Garmin portable system, which also features Bluetooth hands-free telephone capability.

This, plus new black leather trim, enhances an equipment list that already includes air conditioning, alloy wheels, six airbags, electric windows and steering wheel audio controls.

The Juro is only available with a 1.3-litre petrol engine, but you can pick between three- and five-door bodystyles, and manual or automatic gearboxes. There's also a fuel-efficient ‘ClearTec’ variant.

Value for money pricing?

Price is £10,499 for the base three-door manual. Five doors will cost you £500 more, as will the automatic gearbox or the ClearTec version (which only comes as a manual).

However, there is a £360 surcharge for metallic paint - and since the Juro only appears to be available in metallic shades you’ll need to add this to the price of all of them. Meaning the real entry cost is £10,859.

However, that still compares very well with regular Colt pricing; a CZ2 model with this engine starts at £10,754. And you can buy a Mitsubishi Service Plan at the time of purchase for £375, which covers the cost of the first three services.

The Mitsubishi Colt Juro special edition is on sale now.
