Have your say on the banksWhich? launches Better Banking forum
21 May 2011
The public will have the opportunity to voice their opinions on the future of the banking sector at a special event, being held on 24 May.
The Which? Your Voice for Better Banking' forum is co-hosted by the Independent Commission on Banking (ICB) and takes place in London. It will offer people to express their views on the banking sector and contribute to the Commission's on-going examination of the City.
Competition and switching accounts in the agenda
Key industry figures will be in attendance, including ICB chairman Sir John Vickers and Which? chief executive Peter Vicary-Smith. The event will be hosted by Paul Lewis from BBC's Money Box, and will centre around the ICB's recommendations for banking reform. It will focus on issues affecting consumers, such as the level of competition within the market and switching bank accounts.
