Samsung has today announced that its new Chronos laptops will feature non-reflective, anti-glare, matte screens.
Matte screens on laptops have become increasingly less common recently, despite demand from consumers. The new line up, including the Samsung Series 7 Chronos 700Z, will launch later this year in the UK.

Which? Conversation readers prefer matte
In a recent poll of 1,667 Which? Conversation readers, 1,491 respondents (89%) said that they would rather have a laptop with a matte screen than a glossy screen.
The article also provoked almost 50 comments from readers, most of whom voiced their matte screen preferences.
