Silentnight electric blanket

A new Which? test of electric blankets has revealed three Best Buy blankets, with the cheapest available for less than £60.

Our three Best Buy blankets are all easy to put on the bed, have dual controls so you can set a different temperature on each side and are able to heat the whole bed.

The best blankets were also quick to heat up, with the quickest heating up in just 12 minutes - almost twice as fast as the slowest blanket we tested.

Which? members can find out which blankets came out on top by logging in to read our full electric blankets review.

About our electric blankets test

We test how long it takes electric blankets to heat up, what temperatures they can reach, how evenly they distribute heat and how much energy they use. We also rate them for ease of use - including how easy it is to put them on the bed and use the controls, and how comfortable they are - and for ease of washing and drying.

The full list of blankets we reviewed is:
