If you’re looking for a bargain beginner’s breadmaker, this Argos model from its Value range could be a good starter option – plus it’s on sale for under £30.
It might not have some of the advanced features you’d expect from a Panasonic or Kenwood breadmaker model, but the Argos Value breadmaker (catalogue number 423/7154) comes with 12 different programs, a timer delay and viewing window so you can keep an eye on your bread as it bakes.
This model was the cheapest we’ve tested in the Which? test lab. For full details of our test results, including whether the machine makes great bread, and more on the settings and features, see our .
Argos breadmaker deal
This breadmaker is usually priced at £38 – but it’s currently reduced by 20% to £29.99 on the Argos website, until 2 November. There you can get it delivered to your home for £5.95, or reserve it and collect from your local Argos for free.
Our testers thought this breadmaker had clearly-marked and easy-to-use controls – but it may not be right for all home bakers. Make sure you compare results with other breadmakers we’ve tested in the Which? lab.
You can filter results to search for specific features including gluten-free settings, automatic fruit dispensers for speciality breads and even programs for making pasta and jam.
