Dyson is currently offering a 20% discount on several of its upright and cylinder vacuum cleaners when you trade in any old model you have.
You will need to buy directly from Dyson and it will deliver the new model and pick up your old one, at the same time, for free.
But we’ve scoured the web for cheap Dyson deals and have found that you could sometimes save even more by shopping around. Plus you can get equally good deals if if you don’t have a vacuum to trade in or you miss the 9 May deadline.
Expensive to buy from Dyson
There are 15 different Dyson vacuums included in this deal but, even with the 20% discount, some can be found on the high street for less, without the discount.
For example, after the 20% discount, the ever popular Best Buy upright DC24 Ball Multi Floor is £239.99 from Dyson. But the same model can be bought from Amazon for £204.99 delivered.
If it’s a cylinder model you’re after, the , rather then the trade-in price of £255.99 through Dyson and if you can wait for 5 days, the John Lewis delivery is free.
Ditching your old vac
Although it can be convenient to have your old model taken away, this can still be arranged at other retailers or you can dispose of it yourself. According to the WEEE directive, all 'bricks and mortar' retailers must offer you the choice to hand in your old appliance when buying a replacement.
