Toasters | Best toasters | Toaster reviews Which toaster is best for bread, bagels and crumpets? Our tests reveal all

Which? has tested ten of the most popular toasters on the market, but only one has been awarded a Which? Best Buy.

The test looked at models from big brands Tefal, Breville and Morphy Richards, as well as a toaster from Asda that costs less than £10.

You can find out which makes the best toast in our full toasters review.

Best toasters

Which? has more than 180 toaster reviews online, including models from Dualit, KitchenAid, DeLonghi and Kenwood.

Our lab experts inspect slice after slice of toast, check what size bread fits in each toaster, and rate each model on how easy it is to use.

A Best Buy toaster has to toast more of the slice of bread than any other toaster we test, and produce toast that's exactly the right shade of golden-brown. Nearly 40 toasters are good enough to get this rating.
