The Which? Switch telephone helpline is now open, letting you compare energy to get the cheapest electricity and gas over the phone on 01992 822 867.
As well as the Which? Switch website where you can compare gas and electricity prices, you can now call the number between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday to find out how much they can save.
To get the very cheapest deal, callers simply need to have a recent energy bill or an annual statement to hand when they ring, and let an advisor do the hard work for you.
Energy price rises
Gas and electricity prices have already started to rise, with energy supplier SSE - which operates through brands including Atlantic, Scottish Hydro and Southern Electric - raising its prices by 9%. Which? Switch advisers can guide you to whether it is a good time for you to change your energy supplier.
The phone line is designed to help those who aren't comfortable switching online or lack internet access.

Cut energy use
If you can't switch deals at the moment - for example if you're locked into a fixed energy tariff - or already have, there are other ways you can save.
Turning down your heating thermostat by one degree can cut heating bills by about 10%, while buying an energy monitor to guide you on your current use can also help you control what you use.
Replacing old light bulbs with energy efficient ones can save you around £45 on you annual energy bill.
However, if you have any doubt about whether you can save money by switching energy suppliers, call the Which? Switch phoneline on 01992 822 867. It's open Monday to Fridays 9am to 6pm.
