The owner of Currys and PC World is closing Dixons.co.uk tomorrow, but existing orders will be honoured.

Dixons high street stores were closed six years ago and now its owner is closing down the website in a bid to harmonise its high street stores and websites.

The Dixons group said that as Dixons uses the same network as its other companies, it will be able to service returns, repairs, and other agreements through its existing channels.

Which? shopping expert Matt Clear says: 'You can see how Dixons, Currys and PC World score in our guide to the best sites for buying electrical appliances. The websites are ranked in order of their Which? customer score, which combines customer satisfaction with how likely you would be to recommend the site to a friend.'

New Currys and PC World websites

The Dixons group is launching new Currys and PC World websites at the same time as closing Dixons.co.uk, and these websites will automatically adapt to whatever device shoppers are browsing on.

It says it is moving closer to having common prices online and in stores, and in some stores you'll be able to order online via a kiosk.
