Our latest TV tests reveal five TVs to avoid from well-known manufacturers including Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba.
We’ve rated and reviewed seven TVs from seven different brands in our last batch of TVs on test. Disappointingly five were so poor we have to advise you to avoid them at all costs. A picture with a green tinge, moving objects with an annoying shadow on screen, and distorted sound are just some of the problems we found.
The five Don’t Buy TVs are the popular 32-inch screen size and are from manufacturers that we know can do better.

Polaroid P32LED12- can the camera brand do TVs?
Polaroid is better known for its cameras than TVs but, since first launching TVs last year, has the transition been a smooth one?
We’ve been less than impressed by its models in the past but we gave the Polaroid P32LED12 a fair chance as any. We put every model through exactly the same rigorous technical tests to assess picture and sound quality as well as ease of use. You can read the full Polaroid P32LED12 review here, including the verdict from our expert independent viewing and listening panel.
