You've told us the top five things you are looking for in the January sales 2013 - now we can point you in the direction of the best deals.
We surveyed 1,179 members (Which Connect survey, December 2012) and and found that the top five things you will be looking for in the January sales are:
1. Clothes and accessories
3. Homewares such as bedding and curtains
3. Home entertainment - TVs, DVD players etc
4. Small electrical appliances
5. iPad/tablet computers
Top high street sales
There are so many bargains available on the high street this January, both online and in store, it can be hard to know where to begin.
To give you a head start we've rounded up the top high street sales, from H&M to John Lewis, as well as highlighting the most appealing offers available at each shop.
January sales home deals
From ovens to kettles, you can make some huge savings on home products and kitchen appliances. Our guide to cheap kitchen appliances will help you find the best deal in the January sales.

January sale rights
Under the Sale of Goods Act you have the right to claim a refund, replacement or repair if sale goods or Christmas presents are faulty. Shops are not legally required to offer one of these options if the gift is just unwanted - but many do.
