40% of Which? members had a problem when their kitchen was fitted, according to out latest kitchen brands survey.
The most common problem was that fitting took longer than planned with sinks and taps also causing problems. However, a third of all problems were resolved within a week of them being reported to the company.

Choosing a kitchen company
The mains reasons for purchasing from a particular kitchen retailer were good design, the company having the components required, or the company being recommended by family or a friend.
Howdens Joinery was the most used brand (after the independents). The survey was carried out in January 2013 and asked 3,346 members who had had a kitchen installed, within the past five years, to rate their kitchen company.
