Washing Machine Brands

Our new washing machine range guides provide insider information on over twenty different washing machine ranges.

Washing machine expert, Adrian Porter says: 'Our research reveals that a more expensive range doesn't necessarily buy you better quality. In fact, we've discovered for one brand, that the entry level models outperform the more expensive range.'

We’ve covered washers from leading manufacturers including Bosch, Hotpoint Miele and Beko to reveal the best and worst in our new washing machine brand guides.

What’s the best washing machine range?

Our range guides are based on the results from 241 washing machines that we’ve tested since 2008. If you’re thinking of buying a washing machine soon, our guides tell you what to expect from the different ranges.

This way you can directly compare ranges like Bosch’s entry-level Classixx washing machines against its more expensive Logixx models to see if they’re really worth the extra money.

They show the average score, pros and cons and Best Buy information for the most popular washing machine brands and their individual ranges.

Each range guide also shows the features you’ll find on these models and a rough guide to how much you'll be paying in the shops.

Buying a washing machine

We’ve included information on some ranges that have been discontinued like the Bosch Advatixx range.

The information is there in case you’re buying second-hand or you’ve found an old machine and want to know what you can expect from these models.

Our new range guide contains a wealth of information from our testing. But if you’re after the best washing machines in the shops, head to our Best Buy washing machine reviews.

We’ve also published a Miele jargon buster. This glossary provides explanations of the features and wash programs found on Miele washing machines.
