The Dyson Hard (DC56) has just launched in the US, and will be available in the UK from 1 November 2013. It costs £249 and will initially be exclusive to Tesco.

Dyson Hard - how does it work?

The Dyson Hard looks similar to Dyson’s popular range of handheld and stick vacs. But, the key difference is that the floorhead has two vacuum channels on either side of a disposable wet wipe, allowing you to tackle dust and grime in one go. It can also be used as a handheld vac, and comes with extra crevice and dusting tools.

The Hard is powered by Dyson's V2 induction motor, and uses Dyson’s Root cyclone technology, which Dyson claims creates constant, powerful suction.
