Consumers could save money on a wide range of products, simply by waiting for a certain time of year to buy them.
Which? has published a handy interactive calendar detailing the best time of year to find a good deal on certain products and potentially save huge amounts of cash.
Car buyers, for example, often find that March is one of the best months to grab a bargain on a second-hand vehicle. This is because salespeople are most under pressure to meet their targets for the quarter and if they are struggling to meet their goals, you may be able to get a better deal.
If you’re looking to save some cash on new tools, then April is often the best month to visit the DIY store. The Easter Bank Holiday weekend, for example, is traditionally the time when stores such as B&Q, Homebase and Screwfix, often discount DIY products.
There are plenty more tips like this to be found in our guide on the best time to get a deal.
