Dualit Dual-Max blender

Dualit's Dual-Max is a sturdy, centrifugal juicer

Dualit says that its new Dual-Max juicer will juice your fruit and then juice the remaining pulp, resulting in more juice and less waste. So does it live up to the claims? And is it worth its £100 price tag?

One of our researchers took the Dual-Max juicer home and whizzed up several mixtures of fruit and veg, to check out the quality of the juice it can produce.

We’ve already found a Best Buy juicer for less than half the price of the Dual-Max, so before you buy a juicer make sure you take a look at all of our juicer test results and our first look review of the Dualit Dual-Max juicer, to see if this one’s worth the investment.

Juicing with the Dualit juicer

Like most juicers, this sturdy model from Dualit pulverizes fruit by flinging it against a metal filter.

It has two speeds, the slower speed is for soft ingredients like oranges and peaches and the faster one is for tougher customers such as carrots or apples.

The Dual-Max has a wider-than-average feeding chute and a pulp container that’s a hefty two litres.

Juicer reviews

Our rigorous testing challenges juicers to make smooth juice out of hard-to-juice raw fruit and veg such as beetroot, carrot and apple.

As well as looking for top-quality juice, we also look at how easy a juicer is to use and whether it makes a racket.

Visit our juicer reviews to find out which of the 33 juicers we’ve tested have been awarded Best Buy status.
