Stokke has recalled the Trailz pushchair over concerns that the handle joint could break, which could cause you to fall.
UPDATE 29/01/15: Stokke has given us a further update and says:
‘We have made the necessary adjustments and will shortly start production of the new handle. We expect to begin the handle replacement on the chassis from the last week of January. If you have not yet been in contact with your point of purchase regarding your Stokke Trailz chassis, we kindly ask you to take contact immediately in order to make the necessary arrangements.
‘For new customers, Stokke Trailz is currently scheduled to be available in the stores from the beginning of February. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. For full details please visit www.stokke.com/GBR/en-gb/trailz-important-safety-announcement.html.’
Stokke has asked all customers that own a Trailz pushchair to stop using it and return it them.
The company will mend your pushchair and, upon request, provide you with an alternative chassis to use while yours is being fixed.
