Tefal Easy Soup

The Tefal Easy Soup has four automated cooking programs

The Tefal Easy Soup is a jug blender designed to help you make fresh, homemade soups without the hassle. We've been busy cooking and blending so we can bring you our first impressions, and tell you whether it's worth investing in.

With an RRP of £79.99, the Tefal Easy Soup may seem like an expensive appliance to buy simply for making soup, but thanks to four automated cooking programs, it can also be used to create smoothies, compotes and sauces.

As well as automatic cooking, there is an easy cleaning program that aims to reduce your washing up, but how do the soups it produces compare to those made in the classic way?

Read our Tefal Easy Soup first look review to find out.

Tefal Easy Soup: how easy is it?

This soup maker has been designed with simplicity in mind. It takes just two buttons to start the program you choose, and will beep to let you know when it's finished.

Its four cooking programs include 'smooth', 'chunky', 'compote' and 'blend', so it can be used to create a range of dishes, drinks and accompaniments. It has a keep-warm function, which aims to simmer your soup at the optimum serving temperature for up to 40 minutes after it's finished cooking.

For added inspiration, the Tefal Easy Soup comes with a recipe book, which has 30 different soup, smoothie and dessert recipes to get you started.

Soup maker reviews

The Tefal Easy Soup is just one of a range of jug blenders on the market that include built-in heating elements, allowing them to cook your food while they blend it.

For simply making soup, these machines can seem pricey, but most can be used as traditional blenders, too.

We've put popular soup makers such as the Cuisinart SSB1U and the Waring WSM1U through their paces so you can find the right one for you.
