Is the Britax Bob running buggy a Best Buy?

Which? tests pushchairs over five marathons
Britax Bob Revolution Pro

The Britax Bob Revolution Pro is suitable from six months old

Has the London Marathon sparked your inner Paula Radcliffe? Our latest batch of pushchair tests includes the Britax Bob Revolution Pro – a running buggy that’s manoeuvrable enough to be used on a daily basis.

Each pushchair we test ‘runs’ the equivalent of nearly five marathons, as we wheel them over a lumpy, bumpy rolling road for 128 miles. And this is before we subject them to a range of safety and durability tests.

As well as the Britax Bob, our latest tests include a range of all-terrain pushchairs for active parents.

Jog over to our pushchair reviews to see which are the front runners from our latest bunch.

Britax Bob Revolution Pro

The Britax Bob Revolution Pro pushchair is suitable for babies from six months, and approved for running, but has a swivel front wheel which makes it manoeuvrable enough to be used on a day-to-day basis.

We tested it to see how easy it is for parents and carers to use it on a daily basis – including folding and unfolding, lifting and moving it about, as well as testing it over a range of terrains: from pavements to bumpy uneven ground.

Discover if the Britax Bob Revolution Pro Pushchair impressed our experts and parent-testers enough to get on our podium of Best Buys.

Bugaboo Runner

The Bugaboo Runner features a handbrake, fixed front wheel and suspension

Running buggy from Bugaboo

Earlier this month, Bugaboo announced its entry into the running buggy arena with the launch of the Bugaboo Runner. This first running buggy from Bugaboo features a parent-facing seat and Runner’s chassis (£349) that is compatible with all other Bugaboo pushchair seats, providing they aren’t very old models.

The Runner can be used when your baby reaches nine months old and isn’t travel-system compatible, so you can’t add a car seat. It’s not suitable to be used with a carrycot either.

Find out our first impressions of the features on the Bugaboo Runner.
