The Zanussi ZDM16301SA is a handy compact dishwasher - but is it any good?

Five up-and-coming dishwashers have been put through our rigorous lab tests, revealing marked differences between how well each model cleans and dries dishes.

Our latest dishwasher group test included models from popular brands Hotpoint, Indesit, Miele and Zanussi, as well as an own-brand dishwasher from John Lewis.

Go straight to our to find out which of these new models earned five stars for both its cleaning and drying, and which model makes such a racket that it we awarded it just one star for noise.

Table top dishwasher

While full-sized dishwashers are the most popular type, our reviews include dishwashers of all sizes, from slim to ultra compact table top dishwashers. You may think that a small kitchen precludes you from adding in a dishwasher, but table top models similar in size to a microwave are available.

We've just tested Zanussi's ZDM16301SA - a compact table top dishwasher that can hold up to 60 items (that's the washing up from dinner for six people). Table top models don't always clean as well as full-sized models, but this Zanussi dishwasher costs the same price as models with double the capacity. Is it worth it? Compare it was other Zanussi models using our Zanussi dishwasher reviews.
