Which? has test results for more than 90 lawn mowers online, and the Bosch Rotak Ergoflex 40 review was read more than any other over the past three months. Lawn mowers from Flymo and Honda were also among the most popular.
The five most popular lawn mowers range in price from under £100 to nearly £400 and not all of them are Best Buys – they score from 82% down to 67%.
Which? lawn mower expert Adelaide Gray said: ‘2015 has seen the price of battery mowers reduce but for most of us they’re still an expensive option compared to corded models. However if you’re thinking of replacing a small petrol mower, they’re definitely worth considering.’
‘We test every lawn mower on the things we know are important to you – so we can tell you exactly how good each mower is at cutting short, long, rough and damp grass, how fuel efficient it is, whether it collects grass well and how easy it it to use, before you buy.’
