Double pushchairs are increasingly popular as mums have children closer together in age

Baby Jogger tops the most popular double pushchairs chart on Which.co.uk – with the Baby Jogger City Select tandem double taking the number one spot.

Coming in second is another Baby Jogger double – the Baby Jogger City Mini GT, which is a side by side pushchair model.

Which? has rounded up the 10 most popular double pushchairs based on those reviews with the most views over the last six month period.

The Babystyle Oyster Max, Phil & Teds Navigator double and Mountain Buggy Duet come in third, fourth and fifth places. Double pushchair models from Britax, iCandy, Bugaboo and Out 'N' About are also in the top 10. To find out which models sit where, head to our popular double pushchairs gallery.

These models might be our most popular, but that doesn't mean they are top scorers. To find out how they fared when faced with our Which? pushchairs test lab and parents' panel testers, follow your favourite below to read the full review.

iCandy, Baby Jogger and Britax

Last year, iCandy took the top two spots in our popular double pushchairs list. But this is clearly the year of Baby Jogger as the City Select double and City Mini GT double move up from positions three and four last year. Britax pushchairs – two of the cheaper models on the list – have also enjoyed a surge in popularity, taking two spots in this year's top 10 after not appearing on last year's list

How we test pushchairs

Which pushchair testing is unique because:

  • Our tests are based on years of experience, testing more than 300 pushchairs in five years
  • We buy everything we lab test
  • We're completely independent of any manufacturers
  • We don't accept adverts in our magazines or on our website.

Which? pushchair testing combines safety testing, durability testing and parent user trials, as well as expert assessments. Our extensive testing includes bumping every pushchair over the equivalent of 206km on a bumpy treadmill track to find out which pushchairs can last the distance.
