Which? Technology weekly podcast, 15 November 2011
- Is online shopping killing high street retailers?
- Continuing Apple iPhone 4S problems
- Who is the greenest electronics manufacturer?
In a week where Best Buy announced it was closing its UK stores and Comet was sold on for just £2, we examine the decline of electronics retailers on the high street. Does online shopping mean high street retailers just can’t compete anymore on price and selection?
We also get to grips with the iPhone 4s, as problems surrounding battery drain continue to rumble on. This week’s iOS 5.0.1 operating system update hasn’t solved the problem and our mobile phone expert, Tim Gee is in the studio to tell us what Apple has been doing and shed light on some of the suggested fixes.
In our regular news roundup, we reveal the newly crowned king of the Greenpeace’s greener electronics rankings and what exactly being the winner means. We also look at Apple’s iPod nano recall.
