Responding to the Ministry of Justice’s announcement today that David Edmonds CBE has been appointed the inaugural chair of the Legal Services Board, Mark McLaren, Public Affairs Advisor at Which?, says:
“Six months after the passage of the Legal Services Act 2007, the appointment of the inaugural chair of the Legal Services Board is very good news. This is the first concrete step on the long road to a new, modern legal services regulatory environment which puts consumers first.”
