Helen McCallum, previously Director of Corporate Affairs for the Environment Agency, has been appointed as Which?’s new Director of Policy.
Helen’s previous roles include working for the NHS and the Department of Health, where she was involved in the early development of NHS Direct. She has also managed national campaigns on smoking, teenage pregnancy and climate change among others.
Her role will be to strengthen policy development at Which? and ensure that the consumer organisation identifies the right solutions for consumers, today and in the future.
Of her new position, Helen McCallum says:
“I have spent a good deal of my career promoting the rights of consumers of public services from within. I am now really looking forward to championing consumers in an organisation which has a track record of success across a diverse range of issues.”
