Cashback credit-cards

Cashback credit cards are not suitable if you never pay off your bill in full

If you pay your bill in full, get the credit card company to give you money back

If you pay off your credit card bill in full every month you can effectively enjoy free borrowing and don’t need to worry about credit card interest rates.

The best credit card for you is a cashback credit card, which give you back between 0.5% and 1.25% of your spending, either as a cash refund or knocked off your credit card bill once a year.

Our Which?-recommended cashback credit card deals charge no annual fees and are the best credit cards for those who always pay of their credit card bill in full.

Cashback credit cards are, however, generally not suitable if you don't pay off your bill every month as the interest you'll pay soon outweighs the cashback you earn.
