Key specification

Fully-integrated

Freestanding dishwashers are designed to fit into a slot in any kitchen – their whole front door will always be fully visible. Integrated models are designed to be incorporated into a built-in kitchen. Semi-integrated models have a visible control panel, while fully-integrated models are hidden entirely behind a cabinet door.

164

This is how long the dishwasher takes to wash and dry a full load of dishes on its main program. Eco programs often take longer.

Unsurprisingly, white is the most common but dishwashers often come in black, silver or graphite too. Occasionally, dishwashers are also available in red, green, cream, or even pink!

Features

-

Some dishwashers have a display which you may use to set which program it will use.

-

Some dishwashers have an indicator that lets you know how long you have to wait until it's finished washing and drying.

Yes

This allows you to set your machine to run after a delay of a number of hours – handy if you want to set your dishwasher to run overnight or while you’re out of the house.

No

This enables you to prevent the dishwasher's door being opened while the machine is cleaning.

-

This prevents flooding if a fault develops within the machine – sensors detect when the water level is getting too high, prompting the machine to stop the water supply. This can be a reassuring feature if you like to use your dishwasher overnight or when you’re out of the house.

-

This program can be used when the dishwasher is half full - useful if you struggle to fill your dishwasher. It uses less water than a full load wash, but two half loads do use more energy than a single full load.

-

This feature entails sensors measuring how dirty the water is in the machine to give it an idea of how dirty the dishes are. The dishwasher then adjusts the temperature and length of the wash to suit its contents.

Energy & water use

-

This is the EU energy efficiency label. Dishwashers are graded A+++ to D for energy efficiency, with A+++ being the most efficient and cheapest to run. We check the running costs of dishwashers using a load of dishes like you would at home - our annual running cost results give you an idea of how much dishwashers cost to run in real terms.

36.94

This figure shows how much it will cost to run this dishwasher over a year, according to Which? tests. This calculation is based on running the main dishwasher program five times per week for 52 weeks.

-

This figure is an estimate of the annual water consumption of this dishwasher. We test how water efficient dishwashers are too, so be sure to check their water use on the test results page.
