Beard trimmer
Most beard trimmers are built in, but you do find detachable beard trimmers as well. Some beard trimmers need the shave head to be removed before use.

Power
Mains rechargeable shavers can be used while plugged in and unplugged. Rechargeable models can be used on the move, but not while they’re charging. Mains shavers need to be plugged in to work. Battery powered shavers usually come complete with batteries.
