Specification
We diligently note all the features of each machine, and measure its size, weight and capacity.
Performance
Fresh fruit ready to blend into a smoothie
We put the blenders through their paces with the following recipes:
- Dairy smoothie – banana, ginger, yoghurt, honey and milk
- Fruit smoothie – banana, mango, lime juice and zest, and orange juice
- Iced smoothie – mango, yoghurt, honey, ice cubes
- Mayonnaise – egg yolk, oil and vinegar
- Baby food – pureeing cooked beef, potatoes and carrots
- Vegetable soup – blending cooked onion, carrot, vegetable stock and coriander
Our testers then assessed the smoothness and taste of each, and checked if any lumps were left.
Convenience
We test how easy each machine is to assemble, use and clean. This includes comfort, vibration and noise assessments.
