We measure dimensions when the printer is open and ready to use, which is why our figures are often different to those supplied by manufacturers. All dimensions are gien in centimetres.
Cartridge set up
Each individual cartridge is seperated by a + sign. Combined cartridges (e.g. CMY) generally cost you more in long-term running costs that seperate cartridges, particularly if you print photos.
Key: K Black, C Cyan, M Magenta, Y Yellow, LC Light cyan, LM Light magenta, PH Photo cartridge, R Red, G Green, PB Photo Black, S Sealer, G Gloss.
Do you need to swap out cartridges to use a photo cartridge?
Some printers require you to swap a cartridge in and out if you wand to use the cartridge designed for printing photos. This can be inconvenient.
Type of screen
Printing photos from memory card is easiest with an LCD preview screen.
Millennium Edition
Wether or not the printer supports the Microsoft ME operating system directly out of the box. You may be able to download an alternative driver from a freeware site but some printing features may be lost.
