We spoke to thousands of Which? members to find out how satisfied they are with their brand of vacuum cleaner.
Upright vacuum cleaners
We received responses from owners of uprights from brands including Miele, Dyson, Sebo and Vax and our customer satisfaction table features 11 brands in total. To see how these brands score in our tests visit our vacuum cleaner reviews page.
The customer score shown in the table is a combination of owners' satisfaction with the product and how likely they'd be to recommend it to a friend.
Our member feedback shows a big gap between brands when it comes to customer satisfaction. The brand at the bottom of the table gets a score of only 47%, which is 40% lower than the top performing brand. Three brands in all received scores of less than 55%.

Cylinder vacuum cleaners
The customer score shown in the table is a combination of owners' satisfaction with the product and how likely they'd be to recommend it to a friend.
The same brand languishing at the bottom of our upright vacs customer satisfaction table is on the bottom for cylinder vacs, but we do get better overall satisfaction for cylinders.
