Washer-dryers: Reliability
Washer-dryers can do two jobs, and if space is tight they can come in handy. But their overall reliability is the lowest of all of the products we’ve looked at this year, with 21% needing to be repaired in the first six years.
This year, Bosch joins Zanussi/Zanussi-Electrolux at the top of the reliability table. Hotpoint continues to bring up the rear.
Reasons for breakdowns
The top three reasons why washer dryers break down are: drainage, 55%; heater, 38%; door, 22%.
