What's New Week ending: 12 September 2008
Ford's all new Fiesta is bigger and bolder

Toyota's new Yaris enters the hot hatch market
We've been busy on the road this week, getting behind the wheels of two updated favourites.
First, the all-new sixth-generation Fiesta, possibly the most radical incarnation of this iconic car yet. It's longer, taller, wider - and lighter.
We've had a good look at its bold styling and checked out its performance in our first drive.
The Toyota Yaris 1.8 SR also gets the Which? treatment. Find out what we made of Toyota's dabble into the hot hatch market. Plus we've also got some useful advice for insuring younger drivers.
These could make your hair curl - or straight

These straighteners have a sonic setting to make the plates vibrate
Among the new products we've got our hands on this week are these Philips TRESsemme SalonStraight Glide hair straighteners, which claim to give your locks a sleek finish or loose curls depending on your preference.
The straighteners have a sonic setting which makes the plates vibrate - apparently this makes it easier to evenly distribute your hair.
If hair styling's not your thing, we've also had a look at the Home-tek Safe-T light, which can provide light in the event of a power cut and recently wowed investors on the BBC show Dragon's Den.
Plus we've put the Arniston Bay wine pouch to the test - this claims to be a much more environmentally friendly alternative to glass bottles, plus it holds roughly double the quantity of wine.
Dishwashers which can figure out how dirty your plates are

Best Buy dishwashers which can work out how dirty your pots are
They still can't load themselves, but some of our latest Best Buy dishwashers are clever enough to figure out how dirty your plates are and adjust the wash accordingly.
We filled them up with pots and pans stained with all kinds of foods to see how they performed, and we also test how well they self-clean. See the dishwashers report for full results.
We also have latest results and new Best Buys for built-in ovens, kettles and tumble dryers.
New fridge has LCD TV built in

Samsung's latest MP3 players are pebble-shaped
A fridge with an LCD TV built in to its door was among the new innovations which caught the eye in the closing stages of the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin.
Our final round up features pebble-shaped MP3 players from Samsung, wireless surround sound speakers masquerading as living room ornaments, the latest sat navs and, finally, the
Unold Flying Raclette, an unusual-looking device for creating cheese and potato raclettes as favoured in France and Switzerland.
Plus check out our quick video look at the Siemens Cool Media fridge, which comes complete with its own telly.
Good Food Guide names UK's best restaurants

The Good Food Guide names its best UK restaurants
The UK's top eateries have been named in the Good Food Guide 2009, available now.
Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck is still number one. We rated it 10 out of 10 - a score not seen in the guide for several years, and signifying perfect dishes on a consistent basis.
Gordon Ramsay took second place with a score of 9 out of 10. The guide also reveals the names of the new chefs nipping at the heels of the more established names.
