2yr Capped Price Plan 2
- Electricity only customers will receive this tariff with iplan, Southern Electric's online service that helps you see where you can save energy and money. You’ll get a free smart energy kit with unique online apps and tools to help you reduce your electricity and cut your bills.
- 2yr Capped Price Plan is capped at the same rate as SSE's current Standard Energy prices for 2 years after you go on supply. This means prices will not go up but may come down.
- £50 cancellation fee will apply if you leave this tariff before the end date.
Fixed Discount December 2014
- Fixed Discount April 2014, guarantees you a 2% discount off SSE Standard Energy rates until 1st April 2014 - regardless of whether prices go up or down during that period.
- You can also add iplan, SSE's online service that helps you see where you can save energy and money. You’ll get a free smart energy kit with unique online apps and tools to help you reduce your electricity and cut your bills.
- £50 cancellation fee will apply if you leave this tariff before the end date.
Standard
- Customers can add better-plan, SSE’s tariff add-on option which rewards you with incentives for reducing your energy usage or purchasing energy saving products like insulation, boilers or A-rated appliances. Customers can also add energyplus Pulse, SSE’s tariff add-on which means every year that you are on the tariff £10 will be donated to the British Heart Foundation, as well an additional £10 when you join. Customers can also add energyplus Argos, SSE’s tariff add-on which gives you 10% off at Argos and Homebase and allows you to collect points for use when purchasing at Argos stores.

- This tariff is certified as green by the independent Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme as 100% renewable energy.
- For every unit of electricity you use, SSE will match it with a unit of clean hydro generated electricity, and through quality carbon offsets, we'll offset 1.8 tonnes of your electricity emissions and an additional tonne from your gas emissions every year.
