Powergen rebrands as Eon
Powergen has announced that it is to change its name to Eon from today onward.
E.ON is the name of the parent company who purchased Powergen in 2002, and the change in name has been planned ever since. In October 2005, the Powergen logo changed to feature the words ‘a company of E.ON’, and today’s announcement is the end of the rebranding process.
