Switch and save by calling the Which? Switch energy helpline
The Which? Switch telephone helpline is now open, enabling you to compare energy prices and fuel tariffs over the phone on 01992 822 867.
As well as the Which? Switch website where you can compare gas and electricity prices, you can now call the number above between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday to find out how much you could save by switching energy suppliers. Both the website and the phone line are completely free to use for members and non-members alike.
In order to get the best deal, callers simply need to have a recent energy bill with a year's usage or an annual statement.
Cheap gas and electricity
Between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2012, 53,459 households saved on average £217 through Which? Switch and our phone line's specialist advisers can help you find the best gas and electricity tariff.

Energy price rises
Prices have already started to rise, with SSE raising its gas and electricity prices by 9%. Which? Switch phone advisers can tell you whether now is a good time to change your energy supplier.
Using a phone line means that those who aren't comfortable switching online, or lack internet access, can get independent advice on doing so.
