How to access your computer's control panel
To open Control Panel in Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 7, go to Start > and select Control Panel from the right-hand section of the Start menu.
Customise the Control Panel
Here's how to change to a classic Windows view of the Control Panel.
The Control Panel groups settings together under category headings, but if you want to see all the individual applets available, simply click Classic View in the left-hand taskbar.
Click Control Panel Home to return to the default view, which we've used for the basis of this report.
