1All about your clip
On the YouTube upload page, fill out the form with details about your masterpiece, including its title, a short description, a category and tags.
Tags are keywords (such as 'holiday', 'France') that help others to find your video when they search YouTube..
Select your language from the drop-down list then click Continue.
2Upload your clip
Next, click Browse. Locate the video clip you want to upload from your hard disk and click Open.
Note that YouTube imposes a limit on the length of your clip (10 minutes) and its size (100MB).
If your clip is longer or bigger, you'll have to edit it before it can go on the site.
3Keeping it private
If you want only friends to view your clip, click Private and then a contact list. To create a contacts list, click My Account > My Friends and enter the email addresses of your contacts.
Finally, click Upload Video and a progress bar will appear as your clip is transferred to YouTube. Click Play, sit back and enjoy!
Tip: YouTube accepts video in a number of different formats, including AVI, MOV and MPG files. For the best results, read the site's guidelines at before you create your video clips.
Some web browser add-ons can make it easier to upload videos to sites such as YouTube.
