It's easy to add more search boxes to Internet Explorer
You will already have an instant search box located to the side of your web browser if you’re using the latest versions of web browsers Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox. Tap your query into this box and press the Enter key, and results from your chosen search engine will be displayed on screen.
But you can add more than one search engine to this box. It can also be worth adding an eBay box if you regularly search the auction site.
Internet Explorer
Add search providers to Internet Explorer here (or click the arrow to the right of the magnifying glass icon and click Find More Providers). You will see a list of options including eBay and Wikipedia. Click the one you want and then click Add Provider. Or follow instructions to add one of your own. Click the arrow next to the magnifying glass to access your options.
Firefox
In Firefox, click the small down arrow next to the logo of the current search engine and go to Manage Search Engines... > Get More Search Engines.... Or you can click directly on the Firefox add-ons page. About 23 different search engines are listed. When you see one you like, click the green Add to Firefox button.
