I wrote to PURE and the supplier Go-Electrical:My new radio, just delivered, worked for about 5-10 minutes and then sound suddenly stopped. I switched off and on again and it appears to be "dead". There is no response to switching power off and on (the power lead is fine, works for another radio) nor switching the button on and off at the back of the radio, nor the on/off switch on the top surface. This is very annoying! Your largely preformatted and generic response seems to suggest you are overwhelmed by similar problems.I played the radio (just delivered) for 5-10 minutes before it packed up. I spent some hours trying to back up the software in response to the message "waiting for USB upgrade". I received my radio on 11th April and have had to wait for a response from you till today, Monday 15th (OK there was an intervening weekend). The supplier in contrast responded early the following morning and collected the radio on 12th April (after I had cancelled their originally scheduled collection in order to try and upgrade the software) and I am waiting to hear from them about a replacement. I'm afraid my experience of this PURE product, and support so far, smacks of shoddy. In future I shall look for an alternative manufacturer sadly; please bring this to the attention of your management.

I bought this to replace an old fm portable I'd been using in my office as I work from home. I wanted something that I could listen to all day that had very good sound quality and the flow delivers. I considered the Roberts as an alternative buy decided the better sound quality and internet capabilities of the flow if reception was poor in my area was more important than a CD and SD card the Roberts had to offer. I found the internet set up proceedure fiddly-mostly due to a poor quick set up guide and the lounge website not that easy to navigate round and use when trying to connect up and gregister for the first time. I've not bothered much with the internet radio much as the DAB reception is so good. My friend has a Sony and is plagued by poor reception which is a pain as he gets gaps in transmission,but I get no such problems with the flow. Yes it's expensive for a radio,but it oozes quality and I'm glad I bought it. I wish which had tested the sensitivity as thos could be crucial if you live in an area where reception is poor

An excellent product which has served me very well for over a year without any problems.The sound is very clear and full from both radio, internet and Ipod.It does takes a little while to feel comfortable with the controls but once you have got your head round them they are very straightforward.

I purchased the radio from John Lewis a few days ago and downloaded the manual as it was not provided with the product. I set up the DAB and FM radios quickly and then, after studying the manual, the internet radio. Setting up the internet connection was straightforward and works well with my broadband. By using the selection process I was able to identify internet stations that interested me to add to the more mainstream stations and I am using these exclusively rather than the DAB or FM. The sound quality of the radio is excellent and I am listening to more radio with greater variety than ever.I have not used the listen again and podcast facilities in earnest yet but the access to the media player content on the works well.Overall this is a good product which has increased my radio listening enjoyment but the internet radio seems to make the DAB and FM radios unecessary.
