The third generation of the Philips GoGear Muse (check the model code starts SA3 to ensure you have the latest version) is a reasonably priced, mid-range MP3 player. It has a large 3.2-inch touchscreen for viewing photos and videos and comes with 8GB or 16GB of memory. But is the GoGear Muse a genuine alternative to the all-conquering iPod?
