The strikingly white Brother DCP-195C has a neat and compact design for a multifunction printer. It can print, scan and copy and boasts an Ethernet connection as well as PictBridge for printing direct from a compatible camera. However a few features are lacking, such as a colour screen, which isn't surprising given the low purchase price.

I've had this printer for a few months and I've found it pretty good actually. I don't print photos though or spreadsheets, just letters and homework projects etc, and for that it's very good, fast enough and fairly quiet. The ink is fairly reasonable to replace and it's been very reliable so far.Scanning is good. And it only cost fifty quid! You can't moan about that!
