Best mobile phone brands BlackBerry mobile phones
The BlackBerry mobile phone brand was originally synonymous with business users, as its handsets featured large Qwerty keypads and had a clear focus on business functions, such as email and document editing.
But BlackBerry's recent mobile phones have also proved popular with social network users, who find it more comfortable to type with keypads rather than touchscreens and who enjoy the free instant message service BBM.
Unlike most phone companies, BlackBerry operates its own internet servers. This enables it to compress data so web pages and emails load more quickly (and use less of your allowance). However it does leave it more vulnerable to outages, such as in October 2011 when users were unable to connect to the internet for a number of days.
