The Amplicom Powertel 580 is an affordable home cordless phone. It's designed for the hard of hearing but shouldn't be seen solely as a specialist device - it works just as well as a conventional phone and answering machine. We were curious to see if it also delivered great performance and so we put it through our digital cordless phone tests.
