iDect's Freedom cordless phone comes with a wireless headset and has a built-in phone book and answering machine. On top of that, extra features including a lockable keypad, speakerphone for hands-free use and a loudspeaker for playing back messages could make this iDect a tempting option. We sent the Freedom to our lab to see how it would perform in our rigorous tests.
